About KTM 390 adventure

An Australian motorcycle manufacturer company KTM finally revealed their upcoming motorcycle KTM 390 Adventure. So, finally, the wait is over for the much-awaited KTM 390 Adventure and is going to launch in India in the last days of December 2019.

The engine is identical to the KTM 390, but there are some changes in the tunning of the engine of KTM 390 Adventure and reduces the emission norms. The design is totally different from the other bikes of the KTM. KTM 390 Adventure comes with Bharat stage 6(BS 6) emission norms and this is the first bike of the KTM which comes with the BS6 emission norms.

DESCRIPTION

Design

KTM 390 Adventure is designed for off-road tracks as well as for the plain roads inspired by the KTM 790 adventure. The head is similar to that of KTM duke 390 which comes with the LED lights, LED indicators, etc.

A fully TFT screen is given in this bike which is similar as compared to the screen given in the duke 390 and seat height is 855 mm and split seats are seen in KTM 390 Adventure when launched in India.

Engine

The 373.2 cc liquid cool, Single cylinder engine is used which gives the power of the 44 PS at 9000rpm. In this, the 4 valves were provided on the cylinder. The engine is similar to that of duke 390 so we can say that the performance of the 390 Adventure is the same as the performance of duke 390.

Suspension system

The 43mm USD (Upside down) fork suspension is used in the front suspension system with adjustable compression. The mono-shock on the rear side.

In this, a rider can adjust the suspension system according to their conditions. The front suspension travel is 170mm and rear suspension travel is 177mm.

Wheels/Tires

17-inches alloy wheels are employed at rear whereas 19 inches are used at the front and the tires can be used for both off-road as well as on-road. The wheelbase of the bike is 1430mm.

Safety Features

This time in KTM, this is the first bike of KTM which offered traction control at the price rate of this range. Dual-channel ABS is provided with off-road ABS is given in which a rider can deactivate the rear ABS.

The standard version and the estimated price of the bike is 3.2lakhs.
