Design

This bike comes with the brand new chassis based on the KTM RC8 superbike.

The rear subframe is made up of lighter Aluminium/Carbon composite material which helps to reduces its weight.

Suspension System

In this bike, the 48 mm WP fork up suspension system is used in the front of the bike and a new WP rear shock system is used at the rear side which gives the bike a boosting performance on the track and provides fewer jerks to the rider.

Hero Xtreme 160R(BS6)

The hero has Unveiled his new motorcycle Xtreme 160R(BS6) at the Hero World. With a new look and design, it looks aggressive. This motorcycle comes with the 160 cc engine option with the BS6 Emission Norms.

Hero Xtreme 160R has the all-new body works and features like LED Lighting, Fully Digital instrumental cluster, 160 cc Air-cooled engine with FI system, Disc Brakes, with single-channel ABS is embedded in this bike.

Xtreme 160r Engine and Transmission

In this motorcycle, a 160 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine is used.

This 160 cc air-cooled engine produces the Max power of 15 PS @ 8500 rpm and torque of 14 Nm @ 6500 rpm.

The Xtreme 160r comes with a 5-speed gearbox with a manual transmission system.

Hero claims that this new motorcycle accelerates from 0-60 km/h just in 4.7 seconds.

The all-new Xtreme 160R design is based on the Xtreme 1R. The Xtreme 1R concept revealed in the Autoexpo 2020. The Xtreme 1R has the only a concept and not in the manufacturing unit.

This time Hero comes with the new and sporty design which looks very aggressive and makes youngsters fall in love with this motorcycle.

The 3 color variants are available on this motorcycle. the weight of the bike is 138.2 kg which is the lightest bike in this segment.

Suspension in Xtreme 160r

The Xtreme 160r has 37mm telescopic fork suspension at the front and a 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock suspension at its rear.

Tires and Braking in Hero Xtreme

The 17-inch 130/70 radial tires at the rear. The 276 mm disc brake on the front and the 220 mm disc on the rear for better braking including the single-channel ABS as a safety feature in this motorcycle.
