India is now shifting towards E-VEHICLE, Indian Auto manufacturers now offering E VEHICLE TOO.

The current situation in front of the Auto industry is to switch From IC vehicle to E-vehicle. A few times back the whole world is planning to introduce electric vehicles on a large scale. There are so many countries who already started the production of E-vehicle. India is one of those countries that started the production and Indian buyers shown trust and interest in E-vehicle positively.

Currently, there are some products available in the Indian market. In this new vehicle category, Indian manufacturers also started manufacturing the product. Today we are talking about the top 5 Indian E-vehicle is on sale.

1. Tata Nexon EV

Nexon EV is the first Electric from Tata motors. Tata claims the driving range if Nexon EV is 312 Km in a single charge. The vehicle is powered by a 3 phase permanent magnet synchronous motor, That is able to deliver the max. Power of 130.7 bhp and max torque of 245 Nm. Tata provides a DC fast charging facility by which the car gets charged 0-80% in just less than an hour. Last month the company revealed the sales figure that shows Tata sold 1000 units of Nexon EV

2. MG ZS EV

ZS EV is also a first Electric SUV product from the carmaker. The car is priced between 20.88 lakhs to 23.58 lakhs. The car is available in two trims one is excite and the second one is exclusive. this is loaded with all necessary safety and comfort features.

In this SUV the 44.5 kWh battery is used which promises to give the range of 350 km on a single charge.

This battery takes 7-8 hours to get full charged (0-100) if we charge it with the fast AC charger but it takes 1 hour to charge 80% battery if we charge it with the DC fast charger. The motor used in this car produces 141 bhp power and 353 Nm of peak torque. The cartouches the 0-100 within just 8 seconds. The top speed of the car is 140 km.

3. Hyundai kona electric

Kona Electric is the first SUV offered as an E-vehicle.  Hyundai Offers the range of 452 Km at the single charge of the battery. Globally the Kona comes with the two power-train options 100 KW motor with 39 kWh battery pack and 150 KW motor with a 64 kWh battery pack. Kona touches 0-100 km/h in just 9.7 seconds. Although this powerful motor provides a great acceleration from the starting of the vehicle and no power lag which makes the driving full of thrilling.

The Kona Electric will take 57 min to charge from 0-80% with a fast charger of 50 KW. Similarly, it takes around 6 hours and 10 minutes to full charge with the 7.2 KW AC wall-box charger. However, there is a portable 2.8 KW charger which can be plugged into normal sockets which take about 19 hours for a full charge

4. Bajaj chetak electric

Bajaj Chetak discontinued a few years ago and Reintroduced earlier this year. This time the Bajaj Chetak introduced with the electric scooter. The Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter introduced at the time of COVID-19 Pandemics due to which the lockdown is going on and results in no sales of this electric scooter from the launching of the Bajaj Chetak.

In the Month of April to June, the Bajaj chetak Electric Scooter is not able to sell a single scooter and results in Zero sales which is a huge disappointment for the company. But as per the lockdown is slowly unlock and the improvements in sales of Bajaj Chetak is seen.

This version of Bajaj is going to powered by 4 KW brushless DC motor. Chetak claims the range output of 95 km per charge, powered by a lithium-ion battery. chetak is going to charge by 5-15 amp charger which will take approx. 4 hours to complete charge. Bajaj will provide 3 years or 50000 km warranty. additionally 70000 km battery warranty. Then the service interval is 15000 km.

5. TVS I QUBE

TVS recently launched its electric scooter in the Indian market. This scooter is very efficient. This scooter gives the output of 75 km in a single charge under ECO mode, with a top speed of 78km/h. Generally, we have a misconception about E-vehicle that They cannot perform like an IC engine
