2021 Volkswagen Polo Facelift Revealed
In the Indian market, VW group is still selling fifth-gen Volkswagen Polo. It also gets some cosmetic as well as technical updates by the time.
Volkswagen has launched the 6th gen Polo facelift for the international market. The update offers with it refreshed styling, more equipment, and autonomous driving capability.
Polo facelift is equipped with Volkswagen’s latest infotainment system with a 6.5-inch touchscreen as standard, offering both the connectivity option of Android Auto and Apple car play. A larger 9.2-inch version is also available as an option, on the other hand, the new slider temperature control that sits lower down the center console is brought over from the Golf. There is also an 8.0-inch digital instrument display, although it gets a multifunction designed steering wheel
The major focusing point is now, the Polo is available with 2nd level autonomous driving feature (called Travel Assist) as an option. First seen on the Passat, this technology offers together adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance to enable partly automated driving at up to 210kph. A more regular version of lane-keeping assistance is fitted as standard.

Volkswagen is offering the same engines as the pre-facelift Polo. This means that the Polo comes with both, a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine as well as the TSU turbo-petrol engine option. Power outputs range from 80hp to 110hp, and gearbox options include manual or dual-clutch automatic, depending on engine and variant.
