Bajaj chetak Electric comes with 258 units in October

Bajaj claims 85km of range in sport mode and 95km in eco mode
The Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter introduced at the time of COVID-19 Pandemics due to which the lockdown is going on and results in no sales of this electric scooter from the launching of the Bajaj Chetak. In the month of Oct 2020, Bajaj recorded 258 unit sales. Initially, Bajaj doesn’t get any response from the market.
in the Month of April to June, the Scooter is not able to sell a single scooter and results in Zero sales which is a huge disappointment for the company. But as the lockdown is slowly unlocked and the improvements in sales of Bajaj Chetak seen. The 120 Units of Scooter were sold in the month of July 2020.

The Indian market is now slowly showing interest in electric vehicles. it will take some time to move completely towards electric vehicles.
This scooter costs 1.25 lakh. the scooter gets few noticeable changes like metallic colored wheels, tan-colored seat, front disc brake. The scooter is powered by a 4.1 kW electric motor. the motor develops 16Nm of torque.
