BMW launched its new bike BMW R18 in India at Rs. 18.9 Lakh. The bike is available in two trims, standard, and first edition. Both trims are available at different price tags. The power train and the capabilities are totally the same, there is only a difference of styling and few comfort features in both Tims.
The standard edition costs you 18.9 lakhs and the first edition costs 21.9 lakh. BMW offers extra chrome finish and a black storm metallic paint shade. There is some additional cosmetic accessories company offer in the first edition. BMW also offers hill start assist, heated grips, and turning headlamps.
The BMW R18 is inspired by the 1936 BMW R5. This bike is like a modern electronics equipped retro bike. The design of the bike looks stunning. The bike is equipped with LED Headlamps, a water drop-shaped fuel tank, and a broad rear fender.
BMW R18 is powered by 1802 cc, an oil-cooled engine. The powerhouse is capable of delivering 91hp @ 4750 RPM and 158Nm of torque @ 3000 RPM. The company claims that the bike can attain a speed of 0-100 in just 4.8 sec. BMW also offers a customization option in R18. A buyer can customize the seats, exhaust, side body panels, and a handlebar too.
