Front Passenger Airbag is set to be mandatory for all cars

In India Maruti Suzuki Alto, Celerio, and Wagon R comes with a single Front Passenger Airbag only
Earlier it was not mandatory to give dual front airbags. now the Ministry of Road transport and highways has passed a new rule that made the front passenger airbag mandatory.
Before 2019 the car selling in the Indian market is very less equipped with safety features. the govt. has made the mandatory to provide selected important safety features. when this thing came in front of buyers. they started demanding extra safety features. Now companies are providing safety features and improving them according to the need of buyers.

Airbags are one of the most important safety equipment that saves us while collisions. there are so many now available in the market is on sale with more than 6 airbags. sometimes manufacturers eliminate airbags in order to cost-cutting.
Now According to the latest notification from Govt. of India, it is mandatory to provide dual Airbags at the front. Before 2019 when Indian cars are getting failed to get a single star rating in a crash test. But now Indian made cars are competing with International spec. cars in terms of safety. Tata Altroz and Mahindra XUV 300 are cars manufactured by Indian Automakers who got 5-star ratings in the MarutiGlobal N-cap crash test.
