Comparison of Engine and Transmission system

The Honda After the Success of Hornet 160 the Hornet 2.0 launched with the 184.4 cc Single cylinder Air-cooled engine Whereas the Apache RTR 200 powered by the 197.7 cc Single cylinder Oil-cooled engine. The 184 cc Produces the Maximum Power of 17 bhp at 8500 rpm and 16.1 Nm torque at 6000 rpm whereas the 197.7 cc engine produces 20.24 bhp at 8500 rpm and 16.8 Nm torque at 7500 rpm. If we talk about the transmission system then both the bikes are mated with a 5-speed gearbox.

Ergonomics

The Hornet 2.0 is comfortable because of its comfortable riding angle and makes it better than Apache RTR 200 in terms of riding angle whereas both the bikes come with the split seats. The Hornet weight is 142 Kg where the Apache has 11 kg more weight and the overall weight of the apache is 153 kg. This is the biggest advantage of hornet 2.0 over Apache RTR 200.

Dimensions, Chassis, and Suspension used

The Length X Width X Height of Hornet 2.0 is 2047 mm X 783 mm X 1064 mm whereas Apache RTR 200 is of 2050 mm X 790 mm X 1050 mm. The little difference in wheelbase the Hornet has the wheelbase of 1355 mm whereas apache has a 1353 mm Wheelbase. Both the bikes have the 12-litre fuel tank.

If we talk about the chassis then hornet is based on the Diamond type frame whereas Apache is based on the Double Cradle Synchro stiff type frame body.

The USD Fork Suspensions used on the front side of Hornet and Telescopic suspensions given in the Apache on the front side whereas the Monoshock Suspensions are given on the Rear Side of both the bikes.
