Indian car exports down by 52% in this financial year as Hyundai leads the market

The starting period of this festive season not received satisfactory results in passenger vehicle export. A small improvement is seen in domestic sales. The majority of the sales carmakers extracted during the festive season.
On the other hand, the overall vehicle export is falling down by 52% during the period of April to Oct 2020. Overall 1,95,296 passenger vehicles were shipped out of India. In this export, Hyundai leads India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki and Ford. Hyundai managed to export 44,271.

This export sale of Hyundai is fallen by 62% compared to the previous financial year.on the second spot, Maruti Suzuki exports 41,011 units with 33.5% sales degrowth compare to the previous year’s sales figure.
Third place is occupied by ford with 27,926 units exported during this financial year. The export figures are falling down by 64% compared to last year.
