Maruti Suzuki sold 9557 units in Nov 2020
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is well popular MPV in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki just crossed the 5.5 lakh unit sales in domestic in just 8 years. IN November 2020 Maruti Suzuki sold 9557 units of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and become the most selling MPV in the domestic market. Last year in the same period the manufacturer managed to sell 7537 units in the domestic market.
Moving towards the powerhouse. The engine used in it is a 1.5 L 4 cylinder Mild hybrid petrol engine. The engine is well capable to deliver 104.7 ps of power and 138 Nm of torque. The powerhouse is connected with a 5 speed Manual transmission and 4-speed automatic torque converter as an optional offering.
Maruti Suzuki is the most selling MPV as the company claims 20% of repeat customers. It is the only MPV in the market with company fitted CNG
In the future there are more MPV is expected in the market. The company is planning to expand the MPV segment. The upcoming product can be a rival of Mahindra Marrazzo and Toyota Innova.
