New S-Cross With Next-Generation Smart Hybrid Technology

So What is Next-Generation Smart Hybrid Technology:- This Technology is used for enhancing the driving experience and helps to increase the fuel efficiency of the vehicle.

Idle Start/Stop Technology

Not only this the Idle Start and stop technology is given due to which the engine start and stops when the engine comes at optimal conditions.

Through Idle Start/Stop technology there are two advantages first one is that it increases the fuel efficiency of the vehicle and the second one is that it does not consume the extra fuel and hence results in fewer emissions. Whereas the Car is already met with the BS6 Emission Norms.

Brake Energy Regeneration Technology

Another Technology Used in this Car which is called as the Brake Energy Regenration Technology. In this Car, the Dual Battery Setup is Included in which the Lithium-Ion Battery is used. The Brake energy Regeneration is the concept of generating energy from the braking and stored into the high capacity batteries. This energy is used for the further workings like Engine Idle Start/Stop and Torque assist Functions.

All These Latest technologies like Next-generation Smart Hybrid technology were also available in other cars and SUVs of Maruti Suzuki. Cars are:- Ertiga, New Ciaz, New Baleno, XL6, New Vitara Brezza all of these are equipped with Smart Hybrid technology.

The 2020 S-cross is powered by the new 1.5-litre K15 Petrol Engine which is able to hit the maximum power of 66 kW at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm peak torque at 1,750 rpm. Not only this it is mated with the Automatic Transmission system which again makes it more refined and makes you drive a better experience.
