Tata Altroz EV will be the first Hatchback EV in the Indian market

The homegrown carmaker Tata will be a leading e-vehicle carmaker in the next couple of years. Currently, tata has launched its two products in the Indian market for the EV segment. One is tata Tigor and the second is Tata Nexon.

For now, Tata has already started the sales of Tata Nexon EV in the Indian market. That is getting an amazing response from the Indian market. Moreover, the stats are not so good. Buyers are actually not prepared to go for the electric vehicle, somewhere there is a lack of awareness about E-vehicle is the major problem. Still, Tata Nexon becomes the top-selling E-vehicle

in the previous month sales

Now Tata is planning to launch the third EV in the Indian market. The upcoming EV will be a Hatchback. The next EV will be an EV version of Tata Altroz. Tata Altroz is a successful product in the Indian market. Altroz got a 5-star rating in Global N-cap safety test ratings. The Altroz EV was shown at the auto expo and it will launch probably next year.

For now, Tata hasn’t revealed the power train specifications about this car. The design of the Altroz EV will almost similar. It may get a new interior and a few new features.
