Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday announced the debut of Tesla in the Indian market. Nitin Gadkari said the American E-carmaker will start selling vehicles in the market. Based on the sales and response from the Indian market Carmaker will plan to start a assembly unit or a manufacturing unit in India
He further stated that Carmaker will start selling cars in India probably by Next year. As Carmaker already started the bookings got its first car in India. The first car that is going to be introduced in India by Tesla is the Tesla Model 3.
Elon Musk already cleared his intention to enter the Indian market back in the year 2016. A few times back once Tesla has started booking. There are a few People like Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Voonik CEO, and Pinstorm CEO who had booked it
Model 3 is an entry-level product in the American market. The car comes in four Variants: Standard Range, Standard Range Plus, Long Range, Long-range performance. It gets a Battery size range from 50 KWH to 75 KWH and offers a range of 381 Km to 580 Km
